Speedflex Bag Tacktick bag Here are two examples of the versatility of Screen printing onto flexible materials. Although some items such as this can now be digitally printed, as we have with boxing gloves for example, screen printing offers the flexibility of  more permanent inks suited to the rigours of materials used in products such as those shown. In this case one of these required metallic gold as part of the logo. Also the physical size of some of these items can mean screen printing is the only option.

This large multi-layered membrane switch was re-drawn, re-printed and assembled from scratch. Having only the supplied panel (in the before picture) to work from, it was an exercise in accurate measurement and careful reproduction to achieve the best result. The whole thing had to be stripped to recreate the circuit layers, adhesive and spacer layers before printing could proceed.

This exercise shows what can be achieved and something we are only too keen to help with

These novel looking ‘shot glasses’ aren’t glasses as such, but more large perspex tubes. They were rotary printed, perhaps not the most complex job but very effective when assembled to give their full effect.

These projects show some of the diversity of our flat bed digital printer—any image can be printed onto almost anything.

Pepsi Fonts

Pepsi Fonts

The challenge with this font for Pepsi was that the print area was curved but had too large a radius for Rotary printing. Pad printing wasn’t an option, so it had to be Screen printed. Radiator Valve Cap rotary printing

Radiator Valve Cap rotary printing

Here is a typical example of much of the rotary printed work we do. Although pretty simple, being only one colour, the important thing is to make sure the start and finish position of the numbers are correct. Working through large numbers of this kind of item quickly is not a problem. We can also print as many different colours as you like, and work with much larger items.

Pad Printing on an Artificial Aircraft Sphere

Pad Printing on an Artificial Aircraft Sphere

Absolute precision was the key with this one! A jig was engineered to enable printing every line in exactly the right position, quite important on an aircraft instrument! Each line was printed individually as the object was rotated, to keep it perpendicular with the printing pad. The end result was very satisfying, these are the kind of challenging jobs we can take on.

Rotary Printed Red Stripe Beer Pump

Rotary Printed Red Stripe Beer Pump

These large cylindrical font housings are typical rotary printed items. Although only a 3 colour job, they had to be printed in 4 operations to effectively […]
